ATTORNEYS
ERIC D. DEAN
Eric D. Dean is the Senior Litigation Counsel of the Firm's Litigation
Department. Mr. Dean is a member of the California State Bar (Litigation
and Real Estate Sections) and is admitted to all Federal District Courts
in the State of California. He is a 1970 graduate of UCLA and a 1973 graduate
of UCLA Law School where he graduated Order of the Coif. Mr. Dean has been
representing lenders on real estate secured loans for over 30 years.
Mr. Dean's practice is focused on loan work-outs, provisional
remedies, including attachments, receiverships and claim and delivery, loan
fraud, lender liability defense, class action defense, judicial, non-judicial
and mixed collateral foreclosures and enforcement of loan guarantees. Mr.
Dean has authored articles on such topics as "The Effective Use of the Attachment
Remedy", "Avoiding Risks and Pitfalls in Commercial Non-Judicial Foreclosures"
and the "Enforcement of Lender's Rights Under Loan Guarantees".
DANIEL K. FUJIMOTO
Daniel K Fujimoto is a 1987 graduate from the University of California,
Irvine and a 1991 graduate of the University of California, Davis School
of Law. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Bankruptcy
Forum. Mr. Fujimoto is admitted to practice before the United States District
and Bankruptcy Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Districts
of California. He specializes in bankruptcy litigation and the rights of
secured creditors.
KAJAL N. ISLAM
Kajal N. Islam practices in the area of real estate foreclosure and
eviction. She was admitted to the California Bar and the United States District
Court for the Central District of California in 2005, and the Missouri Bar
in 2006. Kajal completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central
Florida, where she obtained a B.S. in Finance in 2002. She attended law school
at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and obtained her law degree in 2005. Kajal
was a member of the South Asian Law Students Association, South Asian Bar
Association, Phi Alpha Delta, and the Tax Law Society while in law school.
She is currently a member in Phi Alpha Delta, American Bar Association, State
Bar of California, and The Missouri Bar.
ALAN S. WOLF
Alan S. Wolf is the President and Managing Attorney of The Wolf Firm.
He also heads the firm's Bankruptcy Department and oversees the firm's
Foreclosure Department.
Mr. Wolf was the lead attorney in the landmark bankruptcy
cramdown case of Enewally v. Wash. Mut. Bank (In re Enewally), 368 F.3d 1165
(9th Cir. Cal. 2004). He has served as the Chair of the California Mortgage
Bankers Association Legal Services Committee (1994-1995) and Co-Chair
(1995-1996), helped found the U.S. Foreclosure Network (USFN) and served
as a member of the USFN Board of Directors (1990-1996). Mr. Wolf lectures
extensively throughout the country on a variety of loan servicing and mortgage
banking issues. He has also written many articles for leading mortgage banking
trade journals and has authored two chapters in the Mortgage Servicers National
Reference Directory.
Mr. Wolf is a member of the State Bar of California, a
fellow in the College of Mortgage Attorneys, and is a member of a variety
of mortgage industry trade groups. He is AV rated, listed in the Martindale-
Hubbell Register of Preeminent Lawyers and was recently honored as one of
the 2006 Southern California Super Lawyers as published in Los Angeles Magazine.
Mr. Wolf is a 1977 cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College and a 1980 graduate
of Southwestern University School of Law.
