Wallpaper Installation Instructions

As you know, The Wolf Firm Virtual Aquarium is intended to be used a screensaver or as a standalone program. When used in this way, the Aquarium is "alive" with beautiful tropical fish whose true-to-life movement across your screen will amaze you.

However, we realize that not everyone will be able to use The Wolf Firm Virtual Aquarium in this way because either they can't use the program on their company computer (most companies do NOT allow the use of third party software on their computers) or their computer does not have the horsepower to run the program. For these people, we have provided the ability to download the same snapshot of the Aquarium used in our holiday photo for use as "Wallpaper" for your Windows Desktop. When you download this graphic file (as opposed to downloading The Wolf Firm Virtual Aquarium program), obviously the fish won't move and you won't have the other functionality of the software, but you will still get to enjoy the beautiful Aquarium scene that our snapshot details.

To download a snapshot of the Aquarium and use it as Wallpaper for your Windows Desktop, follow the installation instructions below. Again, this is ONLY if you want to use the snapshot of the Aquarium as your Windows wallpaper. If instead you want to install The Wolf Firm Virtual Aquarium program to be used as your screensaver (and/or as a standalone program) and NOT as Wallpaper do NOT follow the below steps and instead, click here.

Step-by-Step Wallpaper Instructions

1. Download the snapshot of the Aquarium used in The Wolf Firm Holiday Photo by right clicking on the below image. This will bring up the below options. Choose "Set as Background."

OK, right click on the below image and then choose "Set as Background."

The above picture should now be the Wallpaper for your Windows Desktop! But you're not done yet.

2. Go to your Windows desktop and right click. This will bring up the following settings. Choose "Properites."

3. This will bring you back to the "Display Properties" box and "Background" tab. The snapshot of The Wolf Firm Aquarium should be in the the computer screen found on the "Display Properties" "Background" tab (see below) . Go to the bottom right corner of the "Background" tab where the word "Display" is shown with a box below it with certain choices. Choose "Stretch" and then hit the "Apply" button.

4. The snapshot of the Aquarium used in The Wolf Firm Holiday Card should now be the Wallpaper for your Desktop and cover your entire screen. Enjoy!
